VibesCafe is made by METATENSOR PTY LTD, Adelaide SA 5000, Australia ("we", "us"). This policy explains what the game collects, why, who receives it, how long it is kept and the choices you have. Contact: sup@metatensor.net.

Summary

VibesCafe plays online. Your café is saved on our servers automatically, even if you never sign in.
Signing in with Apple or Google is optional. We use it only to keep your café with your account.
The free game shows ads. Ad partners may use your device's advertising identifier, depending on your choices.
Crash reports are on to help us fix problems, and you can switch them off. Usage statistics are off unless you switch them on.
We do not sell your personal information. The game does not use your precise location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone.

1. What we collect and why

2. Who receives data

Our service providers, who host our servers and database, provide sign-in and verify purchases for us under contract and only on our instructions.
Apple and Google, for sign-in, payments and the app stores.
Advertising partners (including Google AdMob, which also shows Google's consent options), to show and measure ads. They use data under their own privacy policies; see how Google uses data from apps.
Crash-reporting and analytics tools (including Google), for crash reports and, only if you switch them on, usage statistics.
Other players, who see only your café name and the public view of your café, never your email or account details.
Authorities, where the law requires it or to protect players and the game.
A new owner, if our company or the game is sold or merged. Your data stays under this policy.

We do not sell personal information. Under some US state laws, ad partners' use of advertising identifiers may count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising"; you can opt out with Apple's tracking setting on iPhone and iPad, or by resetting or deleting your advertising ID on Android (section 5).

3. International transfers

Our servers and some partners are in the United States and other countries. Where data protection law requires it, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

4. How long we keep data

Your café, account and social data: until you delete them. Guest cafés do not expire, but only the device they were played on can open them.
Reward records: up to 30 days after a reward is collected or expires.
Security logs with IP addresses: up to 7 days.
Database backups: up to 7 days.
Crash reports: up to 90 days. Usage statistics: up to 14 months.
After you delete your account: only a few records needed to finish the deletion and prevent purchase fraud, as listed on the delete-account page.
Ad partners keep data under their own policies.

5. Your choices and rights

Tracking (iPhone, iPad): answer Apple's prompt, or change it in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
Ad personalisation: in the game, Settings → Ad privacy choices (shown where the law requires it). On Android you can also reset or delete your advertising ID in the device settings.
Crash reports and usage statistics: Settings → Optional diagnostics. Crash reports are on until you switch them off; usage statistics are off until you switch them on.

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it or to delete it, and you can withdraw consent at any time. In the EEA, UK and Switzerland you can also restrict or object to processing, ask for data portability, and complain to your data protection authority. In Australia you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au). Email sup@metatensor.net. We answer within 30 days and may need to confirm the request comes from the café's or account's owner.

6. Children

VibesCafe is for players aged 13 and over and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game, email us and we will delete the data.

7. Security

Connections between the game and our services are encrypted, and access to our systems is restricted.

8. Changes

We update this policy when the game or the services it uses change, and change the date at the top. We will tell you in the game or in the store notes about significant changes.
