These Terms are an agreement between you and METATENSOR PTY LTD ("Metatensor", "we", "us") covering our apps and related services, including Mani and GENS – Generation Simulator (the "Services"). By using the Services you accept these Terms.
You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age where you live); under 18 requires a parent or guardian's consent. Keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account. Guest sessions are tied to your device and may be lost if you delete the app or sign out.
Mani is a wellbeing and self-development app: guided practices, journaling, reminders, AI-assisted conversations, optional audio sessions, and optional social features (shared intentions with an invited partner, and an anonymous community space). GENS currently runs offline without accounts. Features may change as we improve the Services.
You receive a personal, non-transferable license to use the Services. You agree not to reverse engineer or copy the Services, interfere with their operation, access them by automated means, or submit content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, or infringing. Content you share into community or shared spaces must respect other people; we may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these Terms.
You own what you create in the Services (entries, journals, messages, shared texts). You grant us a license to host and process it only to provide and improve the Services. When you use shared or community features, the content you choose to share is visible to its intended audience (your invited partner, or the anonymous community space) and may be moderated.
Parts of the Services use third-party AI providers (currently DeepSeek and Google) to generate responses and audio. AI output can be wrong or incomplete; use your judgment. The Services offer encouragement and structure for personal goals. They are not medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice, and no outcome is promised or guaranteed.
The free tier may show advertising provided by third-party networks. Subscribers to Mani Pro are not shown ads.
You may stop using the Services anytime and can request account deletion in the app (permanent after the pending window). We may suspend or terminate access for violations, fraud, or discontinuation of the Services. Sections that should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits) survive.
The Services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind to the extent the law allows. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the greater of AUD $50 or the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Apple is not a party to these Terms and has no support or warranty obligations for the Services.
We may update the Services and these Terms. We will update the date above and give additional notice for material changes. Continued use after changes take effect means acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia; disputes belong to the courts of Adelaide, South Australia, subject to any mandatory local consumer rights.
