BoxMaxxing Privacy Policy

🥊 Who We Are

BoxMaxxing is an AI boxing-coach fitness app made by METATENSOR PTY LTD ("Metatensor", "we", "us", "our"), a company incorporated in Australia. This policy explains what we collect when you use BoxMaxxing and the related website (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the Service.

📊 Information We Collect

1. Account

• Email address and name from Apple or Google Sign-In, and an internal account identifier.
• Time zone and notification preferences.

2. Training Profile

• Your fighter name and chosen avatar (a preset — we do not collect photos for avatars).
• Fitness inputs you give us to personalize training: goals, boxing experience, fitness level, training days and session length, age range, height, weight, physical limitations, and coaching-style preference.

Some of these inputs (for example physical limitations) are health-related. We process them, with your consent, solely to personalize your training safely.

3. Workout Activity

• Completed sessions and their stats: punches, duration, streaks, XP, levels, badges, camp progress, and your ratings of how sessions felt.

4. City (approximate location)

• To place you in your city's league we store the city name only, either picked manually or derived once from device location with your permission. We never track or store precise location or movement.

5. Purchases

• Subscription status, product identifier, and store receipts validated by Apple App Store / Google Play and our subscription processor. We never see or store your card details.

6. Device & Usage

• App events (screens used, features tried), device type, OS version, app version, and crash data — used to fix problems and improve the Service, and, with your permission on iOS, to measure advertising performance.

🤖 How We Use Your Information

• Coaching: your training profile and workout history are processed automatically (including by AI systems) to build and adapt your personalized training plans and coach feedback. This automated personalization only affects your training content — never pricing, eligibility, or legal standing.
• Leagues & community: to run weekly city, friends, and worldwide rankings.
• Service operation: accounts, subscriptions, support, reminders you enable, and keeping competition fair (anti-cheat).
• Improvement & measurement: understanding what works, fixing bugs, and measuring ad campaigns.

👀 What Other Users Can See

Leaderboards show your fighter name, avatar, level and scores to other users, and your public profile card shows training stats such as streaks and badges. Your email and fitness inputs (weight, height, limitations) are never shown to anyone.

You can make your profile private in Settings, which hides your profile card from other users.

🤝 When We Share Information

We share personal information only with:

• Service providers that run the Service for us: secure cloud hosting and databases, AI processing providers (which receive only the training inputs needed to generate your plan — never your email or account identity), our subscription processor, and analytics providers (Google Firebase, Meta) for usage and ad measurement.
• App stores (Apple, Google) for purchases and receipts.
• Authorities where the law genuinely requires it.
• A successor if our business is sold or merged, under this same policy.

🗑️ Retention & Deletion

• We keep your data while your account is active.
• You can delete your account in Settings → Delete account. Deletion is scheduled with a 30-day grace period (in case you change your mind), after which your personal data is permanently deleted from our systems.
• You can also email us to request deletion or a copy of your data.

⚖️ Your Rights

Depending on where you live (including under the Australian Privacy Principles, the GDPR/UK GDPR, and US state privacy laws), you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent. Contact us at sup@metatensor.net and we will respond within the time required by law. Australians may complain to the OAIC; EU/UK users to their supervisory authority.

Our providers may store data outside your country. Where required, we use recognized safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) for those transfers.

🔐 Security & Children

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted, and training content is served from protected storage. No system is 100% secure, but we design for least access.

BoxMaxxing is not directed to children. You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live) to use it. If we learn we hold a child's data, we delete it.
